As we enjoy the summer I wanted to whet your appetites with the dates and preliminary titles of some of our 2016 /2017 programme and encourage you to put the dates in your dairy. Full details will be circulated in the Autumn.
We are very pleased to announce that on Saturday February 25th 2017 Michael Parsons is coming to Leeds to give a paper entitled: “Authors of our own Authority”. One of the examples he uses is from Der Rosenkavalier. By happy coincidence this opera is in the Autumn repertoire of Opera North so why not enjoy that performance as well?
On Saturday May 20th 2017 John Steiner is making a very welcome return to Leeds. The working title of his paper is “How do psychoanalysts attempt to understand what their patients are feeling?”
As I said full details and application forms will be available in the
Autumn but get those dates in your diary now. I know they will both be
very popular.
