Gender Dysphoria: a therapeutic approach

Marcus & Susan Evans exploring issues around Gender Dysphoria, followed by interactive discussion with Dr Phil Osborne & Dr Anuradha Menon

The issue of Gender Identity has become a polarizing focus for arguments in society, in families, in playgrounds. Following on from the release of their book Gender Dysphoria: A Therapeutic Model for Working with Children, Adolescents and Young Adults published last year. Marcus and Susan Evans will be in discussion, exploring the impact of these issues on development, how to hold on to a thoughtful and considered response to provide space to understand what might be behind the confusion, the pressures, the search for somewhere to fit in and feel we belong.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with questions from the audience, where we will be joined by Dr Phil Osborne, Consultant in Medical Psychotherapy.
